Paisley Greeson
Hi! My name is Paisley Greeson. I’m from Norton Kansas (Go K-State) and I attend the First Church of God. A fun fact about me is that last summer I traveled to Kentucky with my youth group and got to see Noah’s Ark and the Creation Garden. This upcoming school year I will be a junior. After I graduate I plan to become a dental hygienist. I’m involved in many clubs and organizations at my school along with tennis and golf.
This is my second year staffing at Camp Joy. I’ve attended camp since I was a kid at little kids camp. My goal serving at camp is to lead the kids to the Lord and make the impact on them that all the staff made on me as a kid. Growing up I’ve always known I wanted to serve the Lord at Camp Joy. I’m always thinking of ways I can improve myself as a staff and coming up with different fun ways I can educate campers about Jesus. I’m very thankful for all of the connections I’ve made through camp and I’m excited to make many more!
Jayden Lind
Hi, my name is Jayden, and I’m from Franklin, Nebraska. I attend Grace Church in Kearney, Nebraska. After graduating high school, I plan to attend college and pursue a degree in either elementary education or social work. I have a heart for helping others, especially kids, and I’m excited to be able to serve and be a part of something I'm passionate about at the same time.
I’m excited to attend and serve at camp because I love working with kids and watching them grow in their faith. It’s amazing to get to know them, encourage them, and see them develop their own character and personality throughout the span of a week (sometimes less). Camp is a place full of unforgettable memories and leaves me with great stories to tell and experiences to share. Your support helps make this experience possible!

Nena Escobar Salas
Hey everyone! My name is Nena Escobar Salas, and I will be serving as a summer missionary this year! Here’s a little bit about me: This coming fall, I will be attending my first year at Central Community College in Kearney. I am pursuing a career in Accounting and I want to become a CPA. I attend the McCook E-Free Church.
Camp Joy is one of the plans I always look forward to in the summer. Seeing all of the kids and teaching them about the gospel is something I am very passionate about.
Serving at camp is something I will always enjoy. Meeting new kids and being able to make any impact on them has always been meaningful to me. This will be my fourth year serving, tenth (and sadly last) year attending, so I am so excited to make new memories. These kids deserve to know the gospel and that Jesus loves them so much and, speaking from experience, for some this is the only place they get the opportunity to learn. Being a staff member not only lets us teach these kids, but together we grow closer to each other and closer to God. Some weeks are hard and test our patience, but at the end of the week we can look back on the opportunity that we gave the kids because we let the Lord speak through us. Your support, both financially and spiritually, will help me and my fellow counselors continue to spread the Word to these kids.
Callie Leidig
Hello, my name is Callie Leidig, and I am so excited to be a summer missionary! I started working as staff in early middle school and continued throughout high school. Originally, I am from Phillipsburg, KS, but I am currently a college student at the University of Kearney at Nebraska majoring in Communication Disorders with a minor in Music. I hope to finish my undergraduate degree in three years to then go on to graduate school and become a Speech Language pathologist.

Growing up, I attended Heartland Worship Center in Agra, Kansas, but now I attend Citylight Church in Kearney, Nebraska. I will be on the church’s college ministry (SALT) leadership team next semester to help reach other college students and share the love of Jesus Christ. Christians are called to glorify God and spread the hope of Jesus to the rest of the world. Camp Joy does exactly that by loving kids, spreading the gospel, and teaching what the Bible says. I have attended since little kids camp and have grown so much in my faith as well as made genuine and long-lasting connections with other Christians. I am so grateful for the opportunity to help make this kind of difference in the campers' lives.

By donating, supporting, and praying for me and the other staff, you are partnering with us to share the Gospel and make a meaningful difference in the lives of campers.

Seth Stephens
My name is Seth Stephens, and I’m from Franklin, Nebraska. I attend Crossgate Community Church and am involved in the youth group there. I enjoy staying active through school sports, being involved in my community, and in my free time I also like playing video games. I’m excited to continue growing in both my faith and personal life.
I’m excited to serve at camp because I love spending time with kids, getting to know them, and helping teach them. I also enjoy getting to participate in the activities with them and have fun while still being a good leader. It's cool to see kids grow their faith while also growing in my own faith alongside them. Camp is a place where we can have fun, stay active, and build a relationship with God. Your support helps make a huge difference to all the staff.
